Biography of a Candidate
From the beginning
Born in 1964 in a little lake cottage in White Pigeon, Michigan, we soon moved to Elkhart, Indiana where I was raised. Both of my parents worked at Miles Laboratories, Inc, my mother as a trade painter and my father mixing Alka-Selzer. I grew up in a modest neighborhood, which I had often found myself getting into trouble quite often. I becamse fascinated with space and science fiction watching the 1st Apollo landing on the Moon, but I would have to wait a lifetime to actually get involved with spaceflight.
To avoid being picked on by the other kids, I decided to hide my interest in science from them. Truly the last thing I ever want to hear again is: Beam Me Up, Scott! After having spent over 40 years working on computers, I decided to switch careers and chose to attend college after having been out of school for 35 years. I chose to finally follow my dream, which was a credible, acknolwdged college degree in the study of space and spaceflight. Earning my bachelors of science in space studies in 2014, I joined the American Institute of Aeronuatics and Astronautics where I spent 3 years on the Space Systems Technical Committee. I am now just a thesis away from my masters in space studies with a concentration in aerospace science, which makes me a legitimate 'rocket scientist', which I had only dreamed about.
Now I have a new direction, but it is not one that I wanted. Ever since I found out that the U.S. government refuses to defend citizens that are not affiliated with democrats and republicans that are running for public office, I decided to use my skill and education to defend those citizens not being defended by the U.S. government, which are mine and the public choices during general elections.
